Hope Housing Foundation holds the current apartment ownership portfolio. Under Alvin's leadership, the foundation has brought highly distressed apartment communities back to life for the people they serve.
During his tenure, the foundation has held general partner (GP) roles in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties totaling nearly 3,000 apartments. Its work has included acquiring GP positions or purchasing properties during their extended use periods.
The current ownership portfolio is included in this nearly 3,000-apartment cumulative total since 2011.
Lift Up Alliance is the nonprofit owner of Cypress Cove Apartments, one of the communities connected to Alvin's current housing and renovation work.
